ICYMI - Latino Center on the Portrait Gallery's new exhibition: Unseen

ICYMI - Eduardo Diaz, Director of the Smithsonian Latino Center, lent his expertise to Smithsonian Magazine for their review of Unseen: Our Past in a New Light” which recently opened at the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery and is on view through Jan. 6, 2019.

The exhibition features the work of two contemporary artists Titus Kaphar, who is African-American, and Ken Gonzalez-Day, who is Mexican-American, who use their work to explore the subjects traditionally absent from museums either because they are missing or overlooked in our historical narrative.
